LifeLine Community Outreach

In its long history serving the community since 1849, the Brighton and Hove City Mission, as it is now known, has been involved at the heart of communities, whether they be geographical areas or people groups. It is continually changing and adapting to new needs and challenges as society changes and evolves.

Although society changes, the need for people to know love, care, support and to be valued does not change. We seek to express unconditional love in both word and deed, and by so doing reflect God's love and commitment to this world which is supremely expressed in Jesus Christ.

You will find our team living and working in the tough estates, among seemingly forgotten or marginalised people. We try to answer their spiritual questions through conversation, by using a range of modern Christian literature and by putting on or supporting events aimed at encouraging people to explore the teaching of Jesus Christ.
