Schools Clubs

A natural development from the assemblies has been the establishment of School Clubs for those children who want to learn more about the Christian faith. Kids Count has a number of “mid week Sunday Schools" - lunch clubs in Benfield and Whitehawk, an after-school club in Rudyard Kipling and a Bible club in St. David’s Hall.

Do they make a difference? Well, let one child speak: Billie, “Someone was saying really nasty things about my Mum. It made me really angry, I wanted to hit them. Then I saw you and I remembered everything I had learnt at the Link Club about Jesus. I decided to get up and walk away."

It's good to reward children and encourage them to discover more about the Christian faith. Each year, supported and funded by our partners, we provide free Bibles, Christian books and the ‘Jesus Quest’ DVD to regular club members.
