Literature

The City Mission stocks a wide range of literature in English and over 40 different languages which are designed to help people understand the Christian message. This literature is provided free of charge to individuals.

A number of local churches have small stands offering copies of various titles by award-winning author, John Blanchard. A range of books with real life stories of the "journeys of faith" of individuals from various backgrounds and ethnic mixes is also available. Much of the literature will be found at various events during the year but is also available by post. From time to time literature is distributed throughout the city. A recent example was a tract based on the Ten Commandants, designed "in house" and distributed to over 70,000 homes.
